Just Got an M3

Chris, is the LTM 35 3.5 Summaron really is a nice small lens. Very little distortion for a wide angle. I had one with a handfull of A36 filters and a FOOKH hood.

I'm loving these photos!

Thanks, Charles

I love the way it renders. It is very sharp, no distortion, nice bokeh and beautiful tone rendering. The only thing I don't like is the ergonomics. It is so small its hard to hold on to when mounting and removing it from the camera, and the aperture ring is hard to set because it rotates when the lens is focused...and I wish it had a focus tab instead of the little infinity-lock button. I'm willing to deal with its quirks for the image quality, though.

The 35mm f2 Canon LTM lens handles a lot better, and it is super sharp, but it has a lot of distortion and the tonal rendering is harsher.
