Zeiss ZX1?

Based on the few B&H user reviews—reviewing after returning the camera, mostly—the price appears to be a decision to kill it: murder by price and dysfunctionality.

I remember thinking a few years ago, Oh good, there’s a future for the RX1 idea, now that Sony is backing away from that product. How wrong I was. (My 2013 RX1 still ticks along, though.)

A fixed-lens camera when sensors are always changing, only Leica can get away with a price point like that.

I don't think it has a very large target customer group.

It's bigger than a M240! This is not cool for people who want a relatively small but well-handling camera. Leica got it right with the Q.
