Voigtlander NOKTON 35mm F1.2 X

I think I am going to get this lens after all. I just sometimes am in the mood to manually focus on a digital camera and my dreams of a digital M mount that I want to actually pay for are not coming to fruition.

I'm looking forward to seeing photos with it. I've almost pulled the trigger on it multiple times but always back out at the last second.
This is not a crop
Minimum focus distance for this lens is 0.3 meter

and people say this lens cannot get sharp. I think we see that it is more than sufficient. I look forward to using it.

Well, that did not last long for me. Not because it is not a cool lens. It was very cool. However, I enjoyed having a manual focus lens again so much that I knew I would need a Leica M. This lens had to be sold to make that happen. What can I say? Rangefinder focus is just better than peaking for me.

How does this lens compare to the old Voigtlander 35 1.4?
I'm considering buying the old model, which also comes with the focus tab.
But I wonder if quality-wise they're similar or if there are noticeable differences.
