It may be a good photo opportunity.

Essentially some Italians got fed up by the corrupt Italian political system and organized a woldwide "Vaffanculo Day" (can be roughly translated with "F&*k Off Day") to show their displeasure. There will be hundreds of demonstrations by angry Italians all over Italy and in the biggest capitals.

The whole thing has been started by a well known Italian comedian, Beppe Grillo, strange country Italy, the politicians don't do their job so a comedian has to do it :rolleyes:

I could be an interesting picture taking opportunity, the demonstration will start at 2:00 PM at the italian embassy, then the plan is to walk all the way to Trafalgar Square, people will wear a T shirt with a distinctive design (see links below)

I will be there both to take pictures and to partecipate.

hmm, depending on what time my lenses arrive, i'll definitely try to be there. Would love to shoot this event!

After destroying 2 brand new white T-Shirts in the attampt, I was finally successful with an old one.

I have got the official v-day T Shirt!

Thanks for the idea Francesco ... there's also in Lucca the V-day ... maybe I'll take a look and some photos ... to be true, more than photos I'd like to take some politicians and ...

I'd like to pick up a hood for my cron 35, will call Manolo as soon as I get to Marylebone to see where you guys are, I should get there at around 11:30
 
thanks for the offer mark. Have loads as it is, but it'd be a good occasion to try the newer ones. So where is everyone meeting?
