Hi all,
What sigma L mount lens would you recommend on the fp/l and why? I was considering the 40mm f1.4 for portraits and edc. Or are the I series are better compromise? I felt the 45mm didnt fit well with me even though it produced good results. Most likely because i prefer shallower dof
Your thoughts are appreciated.
Thankyou.

I have enjoyed using the 30 1.4 DC on the SDQ, where it’s a fast 45mm, and got another for AF ease on my Leica T.
Sigma offers f1.4 L DG at various FOV, though. Some might prefer an 85 for shallow DOF busts; some might compromise on F2.0 to have the smaller 65mm lens with manual aperture control. (*I’d* be considering that one.) If you like 40mm FOV rather than 50/65/85/105, and if its size (on an FP, especially) doesn’t bother you, that may be the one for you.
