wish I was going (Montreal's my old home town). Did you happen to see the outdoor exhibit this summer sponsored by the McCord museum? It was on McGill College Ave. They had images grouped in pairs (facing each other) and the depictions were similar, but about one hundred years apart. Most were Montreal scenes. They had, for example, a picture from a Montreal Canadiens hockey player in action from the 1970's facing an outdoor shot of boys playing hockey in the 1890's. I am sure my description does not do it justice. It was pretty cool.
