I'm using a Contax G2 to take film photos and have one question to ask that when I use the SAF (single auto focus) of the camera half pressed the release button and looking through view finder I see on the left hand side is the distance from the camera to the subject and on the right hand side is the speed but the speed is always blinks repeatedly. Is that an error of the camera or it's normal procedure of the camera. Thank you for your attention and reply.

Check the manual -- maybe it will explain (hopefully this is not a sign of a problem): Contax G2 instruction manual, user manual, free PDF manual, camera manual

Are you saying the actual speed number is blinking or are you talking about a blinking triangle next to the speed number? If a triangle, this is just indicating that with the ISO/F stop selection, you will either underexpose or overexpose.
