It actually is wider than you get from the viewer. No problem for me because I lower the camera and look at the bubble while shooting. Not an exact framing but easier to shoot on slower shutter speeds during the dark winter period. The viewing becomes less accurate but I enjoy the Rolleiflex kind of hunchback posture while squeezing the trigger.
For close-up work you need to focus on a focus screen and then attach the film back.

I am using the Hasselblad SWC/M with the Biogon 38mm. You have to guesstimate the distance but the huge depth of field makes it a forgivable task.
Not actually a point-and-shoot as we know it :)

...and for cold, we have -30C/-22F at the time of this post.
