They recycle metal. Years ago I used to work at Bristol Metal Industries on Unwin St. Unwin is further down at the end of Cherry. The two companies were competitors and some wild stuff went on. Last year, I was prowling around with a camera and was standing across from the street from this place. I wanted to take a photo, but never had the right shot. Nevertheless, when I walked away this young angry came running after me, demanding that I erase the images in my camera because I'm not entitled to take snaps of their business (from a public sidewalk no less). I won't go into the ridiculous details of our ensuing conversation, but it was indeed stupid.

You were quite a way from home. I spent many a day on that seashore (40+ years ago) playing about or collecting cockles, winkles and mussels. I wonder if the water is clean enough these days to still eat them. In all, I like this photo for its own sake, but also for the memories it evokes.

Must be somewhere else. No one "walks" in L.A. I have yet to see it. They don't know what to do with themselves if at least one hand isn't clutching a steering wheel.

Hey, I like the name of that guy in the middle. We are a band of brothers. For these photos in general, these most impressively seem to show the characteristics of the 50 Summilux. This is the strongest GAS I've felt yet for that lens.
