The japanese website states that it is a 6 Elements in 5 groups lens, and has at least one aspherical element. The focal lenght is 16.6mm to provide an equivalent FOV of 28mm with the 1.7 crop factor of the foveon sensor.
Maximum aperture f4.
Given that Foveon likes light at an angle even less than a traditional bayer sensor, we can be pretty sure it is not going to have a back element too close to the sensor.
Any lens expert here that can have a guess at how the lens geometry will be and if it could be similar to some well known lens design?
