has anyone glued 2 rear caps back to back yet?
i was about to order a couple of extra caps when i took a good look and there does not seem to be much contact space for a good solid bond.

This idea seems fraught with danger. I'm not sure why I'd want to be handling two lenses at the same time, especially when pulling it out of the camera bag. Seems like it would be pretty easy to lose control of one of the lenses that loosens from the cap. And it doesn't seem like it really saves much space at all. Its still two caps and two lenses.

Sounds kind of like taping two machine gun clips together...enhance the fire power envelope if you will. Capital idea if it works for you.

i've used 2 caps back to back for years and NEVER dropped a lens.
i reach into my bag and grab the lens and turn...the lenses rarely leave the bag except for a turnover if i want the lens on the bottom.

Leica has sold for years a one piece double rear cap for both R and M lenses. One came with a used lens I bought years ago. Worked fine for stacking two shorter lenses in a camera bag. Never had a problem with it dislodging unexpectedly.
