I'm sure this will be a spectacular lens. I do wish they'd consider making a 50 like this in Leica M or maybe Nikon F mount. APO lenses reproduce color with a fidelity that I find unmatched.

This looks like a great lens and unlike Cosina's other APO-Lanthar E-mount lenses, is a great candidate for a VM version. What's more, this lens is a floating group design, which could pave the way for other VM mount floating group design lenses. Will we see Cosina release a 35mm f1.4 or f1.2 VM lens with floating group? I would be very interested in such a lens, or shall we say, 'lux killer
