Anyone know anything about the Leica AF-C1? One just went for 24.99 on the bay and it caught my curiosity (although I didn't bid). Looks pretty plasticy, and apears to have a 40 2,8 that can change to a 80 5.6 lens. Might be a good go anywhere camera. Maybe not.
Thanks,
John

Precursor to the "Lumix" line of Panasonic digicams, the C1 is an auto-focus point and shoot made, I "believe" by Panasonic (don't quote me) "to Leica specs" of course ;) Supposedly not a bad point and shoot but at its time complaints that it was overpriced and not much - if at all, better than other point-n-shooters from its era. (Same deal as the Leica Digilux)

It is a clone of the Minolta Freedom Tele/AF Tele. For about (now )10-15 times as much!

Both are very nice kameras.
