Cameras. I has it.
… separate the false from the truth.
Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?
Bohemian Rhapsody is awesome. Good to meet another Queen fan.… nothing really matters anymore.

Yay! Cameras! 🙈🙉🙊┌( ಠ_ಠ)┘ [◉"]
Saw them in 1974. Or I should say, I was at the concert. Don’t remember much. I’ve been off Southern Comfort since that evening. 😖

@dave lackey, what you need now is a nice Japanese domestic market version. You know, that Nikomat FTn 😁Oh, man, then there is only one real solution… and it is quite inexpensive…LOL.😂
I am interested now in some cool stuff for the Nikkormats, so I guess I have a mild form of GAS… 😮

Beautiful! You know, you’re right!!! 👍👍👍@dave lackey, what you need now is a nice Japanese domestic market version. You know, that Nikomat FTn 😁
LOL… I always wanted a nice bookshelf with Nikons on display!
A Nikomat would be great!😇
Of course my cameras don’t just sit on a shelf, they get exercised, too…one like this would be a joy to display, and to use!
Btw, I have long admired your posts of your black and white work. I have been meaning to thank you for those!
Thanks!!!🙂

Don't underestimate the lens. I think I still have my original one: NIKKOR-H Auto 1:2 f=50mm Nippon Kogaku Japan No.773270. Is it possible to find the year of production of these lenses?
Yes, I agree, dourbalistar's work is marvelous.

Well, now, I am outfitting my 20+ year old Domke waist pack. I use it as a sling most of the time and it is rugged and, well, old. Perfect for street and outdoors shooting.
I keep my camera gear in individual ready-to-go bags/packs depending on the specific camera kit and how I use it.
So, this week I am outfitting the old Domke with two FTNs (each a 50mm lens), extra film pack, extra batteries, cleaning cloths, spare reading glasses, notebook/pen, first aid kit/meds, snack, filters, and room for a water bottle and a few other small items.
I will order two MR 9 batteries from:
The chrome FTN has one already and it works great. Long life!
The black FTN, oddly has only a LR44. I haven’t checked the battery in years. 😮 And without an adapter, the meter reads perfectly. I have no idea why.🤷🏼♂️
Anyways, part of the fun of photo adventures, is preparation and anticipation. I’m enjoying this.
Now if I can just get out of the house…🤨
