OM, I've become a Zuikoholic!

I’ve been enjoying this thread for a long time. It inspired me to acquire a 35mm SLR again. My last one was a Contax 139Q, which I sold a long time ago. I have other film cameras, but I thought an SLR would be fun for macro and wide angle. I settled on OMs for Maitani’s compact design and because they can still be serviced by good techs.

A few months ago I bought a clean OM-1 on RFF that had been recently serviced, and a 21/3.5 from that seller. I also picked up a black OM-2n from a Japan seller on EBay and sent it to John Hermiston for CLA. I then found a mint 24/2.8 and 50mm 3.5 macro from a local Craig’s list sale. I’ve only played with the OM-2/50 macro combo so far. Here’s a few shots from my first role with the macro (FP4 in Xtol).

These OMs are a joy to use and I appreciate this thread for pointing me in this direction.

Where did you all go to?
Continuing to try to make 35mm look as good as MF. This was Plus-X rated at 400, developed in Diafine, and shot through an Olympus OM-2n with an 85mm/f2 lens. One strobe from the left, and a continuous light on the backdrop to soften the shadow. 1/60 @ f5.6.

OM-2n, 85/2, Plus-X 125 @400 in Diafine (a wonderful combination. When Kodak chose between Plus-X and TMax 100, they threw away the wrong one!)

50/1.8 chrome nose, Ektachrome 100.

At first I was dissapointed with this image because it's not really sharp anywhere, but now that's exactly what I like about it- looks kinda dreamy.
