I was wondering about those -- what are those different bullets? I'm guessing the ones on the right are military, 7.62 or 5.56? Not the sort of stuff we shoot on this forum....My favorite BLL, a 1950 Jupiter 3 rehabbed by Skyllaney in 2023. Wide open at one meter. Higher resolution is available by clicking on photo and typing RFF for password. This lens was originally a 272 series CZJ Sonnar, but I think it beats out every other 272 series I own. Yeah, I put the rifle rounds back this morning, in case anyone was wondering

30-06, 8mm Mauser, 6.5 x52 Carcano, 7.62 x 51, a couple of 30-30 Winchester, 7.62 x 39, 5.45 x 39, 5.56 x 45. The pistol round is a 9 x18 Makarov. With the exception of the 30-30, all were used extensively in 20th century conflicts. I keep those next to the books as a grim reminder that what is discussed was carried out in real life, using these types of cartidges. Not intended to be an exhautive list, just a sample. I now regret posting the pics.

Don't worry about it. Thanks for the reply. And yes, just think how many millions of those rounds are out there currently (and in current production).30-06, 8mm Mauser, 6.5 x52 Carcano, 7.62 x 51, a couple of 30-30 Remington, 7.62 x 39, 5.45 x 39, 5.56 x 45. Don’t regret it. The LeveRevolution 30-30 is excellent. In my first job, managing feral animals in national parks, I could have benefited from having some of them, but they were a way off. Time.
