Fluorescent especially. The lights flicker at 50hz.
Only in the benighted countries. LOL Here it is 60Hz and I have not caught that error. But that could well be that I haven't shot under fluorescents and you have. I may have gotten by because 1) I shoot about zero inside at night and 2) when I did it was under incandescent.
Here is a shot into a darkened room in the evening at 1/750.

Most photos made in artificial light suck regardless of the brand of camera. The best solution is simply to find better light.

A good proportion of my paid work these days is live music and stage photography. I have no choice but to shoot under artificial light.
