new movie about Lee Miller to star Kate Winslett

A film about the life of Lee Miller is to be produced by Hopscotch Films Australia. The announcement says Kate Winslett will star as Miller.

The film is still in development without a writer or director attached.
Hopscotch has optioned the rights to the book and the obtained access to the Lee Miller Archives, curated by Penrose, which includes all her photos and diaries.

Hopscotch have the capability to do a good production (if you haven't seen the Australian original series of Rake, I can highly recommend it), so I hope they do a good job with such an interesting subject as Miller. Wikipedia.
