No, no, et no! I want a camera with a Leica M mount that I can use my M lenses with. Alternatively, it could have an R mount. I want no more than a 1.5x crop factor, which this camera may well have. a factor of 1.3 would be better, but I would take 1.5. The 2:1 of the micro 4/3 means that even my 21mm would only be a 42mm--no, thanks. But I have enough cameras--even Leicas--with fixed lenses. What would be so hard about an M mount?

The VF is the key issue here. I think if one think about III series, one may allow for focus separate from view finder. Even a focus light would be ok but not that essential. But as it is, it does not make sense very much. Need a good VF here.

There's just no way this thing is real, at least as pictured here. There are so many missing and wrong things that this just can't be right.
If it's interchangeable lenses, no lens release button.
If it's fixed lens, no distance, f-stop markings on the lens (which I can't see leica doing).
Missing either focus or aperture on the lens, take your pick there's only one.
The lugs look weird
I can't see them doing a fixed-lens without a VF. If it's a GF1 clone, then yes.
It looks like a fixed lens in the mockup, but the lens looks like the panasonic (or olympus) m4/3 primes.
I'm in no way convinced that this is even close to real.

I think it's dis-information purposely leaked by Leica to get our hopes down. Monday they will come out with the official release, it will be a reskinned Panasonic micro 4/3 and the world will be happy that it looks like a leica with the leica price tag.

it looks like an amateurish 3d rendering. serial number 1234567? yeah, right!

That's hilarious. Faith is restored - now put your money in the dish.
