August 24 is coming soon. A day to get your your Argus cameras and take pictures. Be sure to post some of them here. This year it is a Saturday. Lucky us.

I should put my pictures where I open my mouth. Before Argust Day 2024, Ed Kowalski, Argus collector and shooter, passed. For Argust Day shooting, some of his film was distributed to members of the Argus Collectors Group for Argust Day 2024 photography. Below are three photographs that I made using my Argus C3 on a roll of the film.
Ed processed his film, generally color, in Caffinol, and sepia toned it prior to publishing. This photograph was processed in C41 and sepia toned. This is the Main Farm House at Historic Oak View County Park in Wake County, North Carolina. Parts of building date from before US Civil War.
Details of the pillars of the Main Farm House at Historic Oak View County Park in Wake County, North Carolina.
This is the porch of a Tenent House at Historic Oak View County Park in Wake County, North Carolina. This building is not original to Oak View, but is similar to ones that were present up until the 1980s.
