Sequence of photos taken with Skopar 50mm f/2.5 to assess its qualities. Closed Texaco gas station, empty office and door. Looking for pincushion distortion by lining up the frame edge with the station door. Yeah, it's detectable.

road movie still. I like how the mirror condenses a second layer with lots of space into the frame. And the comprehensive set of cc-signs indicates a somewhat desperate preparedness (or pride?) to deal will all sorts of means ... ok I cut my subjective vapouring now ... I think this is a particularly well made and telling image. Whatever sort of distortion it may show - it doesn't matter to me at all. It's the image ... I wonder who last sat on this chair, and where that person went to ...

Thanks! Yes, I was interested by the window's balance of reflection and transparency, and the "emptiness" of the once busy office. They even tried to cram a tiny mini-mart in there to keep the place profitable, and used the old lift area as a muffler shop.
