At 1/250 sec, this shouldn't be showing motion blur, but like others of your pics it could be sharper. So I'm guessing it's coming from your scanner and post-treatment. I downloaded the image and added a bit of edge sharpening, to good effect... give it a try.

I have a 99$ (Canadian) HP 4470c so I'm surprised that anything comes out as sharp as it does. I find the default down-sampling done by PhotoPost soften the images. Click on it to get the full res and it is a bit sharper, but yes a bit of USM does wonders.

Good series, the colors are intriguing. Are these hand-tinted b&w pictures? They have that feel to them..
