The best M Leitz never made!

Asking Price Shipping Amount Condition
$900.00 None Excellent
Description:

Leitz never made an M4 with proper metal levers, but I did. Here's an excellent M4 with M3 wind, self-timer, and frame preview levers. It is in superb functional and cosmetic condition. I probably still have the plastic bits araound if you really want them. It comes with its original case, in great user condition.

Please note that this camera comes with the back door of the rare black M4. It came that way when I bought it some years ago. It is almost certainly not original, but looks really good.

Price for the body: $900.

Also a really fine Summicron f2 that was refinished by Focal Point about three years ago, and so has NO optical impairments, and perfect front surface coating. Focus and aperture are smooth.

Price for the Summi: $400  SOLD!

I also have a rather rare everready case for an M fitted with a 35mm lens with goggles. This case has a 3/8" screw, not the more common 1/4' version.

Price for the case: $50 SOLD!

If you have any questions about any of this gear, please send me a PM and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

I ship using USPS Priority Mail, and charge shipping at cost. I'm sure you will like this gear, but if you hae any problems, I will accept returns, undamaged, for full price less shipping costs.

Thanks,

Dez

Is the backplate a transplant too? In the M4 it's usually silver chrome background with black numbers. Yours looks like from an M4-2 or a black M4-P. Still, cool M4 body. Smile

The backplate is from a black M4. Remember the M4-2 and M4-P used that stupid grease pencil reminder instead of the rotating selector used with the earlier cameras.

Cheers,

Dez
