Asking Price Shipping Amount Condition
On Hold (Best Offer) None Excellent
Description:

1. Leica M3 double stroke camera with 50mm DR lens. The camera is in excellent- condition with some light sign of use, some bright marks, and some age marks but still is a very attractive camera and feels and works great, no operational issues. The viewfinder is bright and clear and the frame lines are clean and sharp. The rangefinder is contrasty and aligned in both directions. Winding feels great, shutter sounds nice and seems accurate at all speeds. The camera DOES NOT need a CLA, feels like it had one in the recent past but I have no proof, just have to believe a long time Leica gearhead when I say it doesn't need a CLA and won't need one for the foreseeable future. The lens works smooth ly, focus is smooth throughout, the aperture clicks nicely, blades look good. While the lens looks clean and clear there are some issues on the front element, a couple small cleaning marks and some other marks. They are hard to see but show up with a bright light. I have 3 of these DR's and a Rigid and the results from this lens are identical to results from the others so the issue do not effect the Image Quality. I tried to get a picture of the front element but was unable to, all I can say is if you are not happy with the lens the kit can be returned (but the price will not be adjusted). The lens comes with the goggle eyes and they are the proper eyes for this vintage lens. Results from this lens (with my Sony A7II) are outstanding. Priced very well, IMO, due to the minor issues. $1600.00 shipped in USA

Note: I'll be keeping the zhou case that is shown on the M3, I have another M3 DS and like keeping them in the half cases for protection.

I've had a few inquiries concerning separating the kit. I would take $780 for the lens and $850 for the camera. Since the cosmetic issues are subjective I will gladly give the buyers a 14 day inspection/return privilege. No price adjustments though. This is USA sales only please due to the return policy.

2. A single stroke M3 in great condition. This camera also needs no attention, everything works great and smooth as silk. Viewfinder and rangefinder are clean and clear and bright, framelines clean and clear, sharp. Shutter is quiet, smooth and accurate. No CLA needed now or in future. A beauty for sure. (on hold) shipped in USA. (includes the body cap but not the strap) Sold, on hold with deposit.SOLD!

Hi Trung, thanks for asking. I don't mind shipping to other countries in most cases but with a camera and lens combination that is not in excellent cosmetic condition I won't do it. I always allow returns and since cosmetics is subjective, it's just not a good idea. High return shipping cost and/or unhappy buyers I try to avoid. Sorry, Bob.
