Description:

I’m looking to sell some equipment to fund some new Leica glass.  Due to the number of items in this post I only have a few photos up. For additional photos see: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/k6rk123x2qa6l1l/AACNzo48HbT_VC_LY54mK3-Ca?dl=0

I am happy to provide additional photos of any of the items if required.  I can also currently provide sample photos taken with any of the equipment listed with the exception of the K1000, Praktina and C220.

Prices are in USD, Canadians can feel free to pay the equivalent in CAD.  Shipping will be calculated at cost, as I am in Canada.  Paypal fees are included in the prices.

Currently the only trades I’d consider would be for a 50/1.4 Lux ASPH cash on my side or a 90/2.8 Tele-Elmarit “Thin”.

Leica M6  $1300

Bought on FredMiranda earlier this spring, good user condition body.  The Leica logo has some paint loss and there is a small scratch beside the viewfinder window, but it does not go onto the finder itself.  The body has a periodic light leak, as far as I can tell it seems to be caused by exposing the shutter directly to a bright light when changing lenses.  On sunny days I changed lenses in my bag, and since starting this practise I haven’t had any issues.  Earlier this summer I shot 10 rolls with this camera on a trip through the Rockies and didn’t have any light leak issues.  Selling because I found a 0.85x M7 that I now use as my main metered Leica.

Olympus OM-1n  Sale Pending

Black body without flash shoe. Body shows some wear, brassing showing through the paint along the edges of the body, as well as a scratch on the bottom right side on the front and back.  The shutter or mirror does not like the cold, tends to get a bit sticky once temps drop under freezing.  This has always been my favourite film SLR, it’s quite a compact body and the lenses are similar to Leica lenses in that the aperture is at the end of the lens rather than the base.

Olympus OM 28/2.8  $70

Bought from KEH as BGN condition, body has a few small paint scuffs but the glass is in good condition.

Olympus OM 35/2.8  $60

Bought from KEH as BGN condition.  Body has many paint scuffs and there is one small scratch on the front element.  I have used this lens quite a bit without that being an issue, and can provide sample photos if interested.

Olympus OM 50/1.8  $20

Body is in good condition, and is the “Japan” front text model.  The aperture blades are sticky, I have been told that this is an easy fix but since I mostly used the 35/2.8 or 50/1.4, I never bothered to take it apart.  Don’t have a cap for it, but will include a UV filter instead.

Olympus OM 50/1.4  $80

“Silver-nosed” version.  As with most of these lenses, the glass shows some yellowing, otherwise in good condition.  I always shot this with B&W film, so I thought of it as a built-in light yellow filter.

Canon EF 50/1.8 II  $65

Very good condition, selling because I ended up with two copies of this lens.

Fuji X-Pro1 Body  $400

Body is in good condition, shows small areas of strap rub and there is a small amount of paint loss on the on/off switch.  I used this as my main body for about a year, but in the end have decided to go back to entirely shooting film.  Comes with original packaging, strap, charger and two batteries, also has a screen protector on the LCD.

Fuji XF 35/2  $325

Bought new about two years ago, in excellent condition.  Doesn’t come with a cap, but will ship with original packaging and the original hood.

Pentax ME Super & 50/2  $80

Good condition, meter is working well.

Pentax K1000 & 50/2  $80

Good condition, meter is working well.

Sigma 35-70 AF

I’ll include this for free with whichever Pentax body sells first.

Praktina FX & Zeiss 50/2.8 Tessar  $35

Untested, shutter speed dial and lens focusing are not very smooth.  Comes with a Zeiss Tessar lens and a waist-level finder.

Mamiya C220 & 80/3.7  Sold

Bought this from a friend two years ago.  I originally planned to use this as an interchangeable lens landscape camera but ended up finding a good deal on a Bronica SQ-A system days after buying the Mamiya, and I never ended up shooting with it.  My friend showed me prints that she made with it shortly before I bought it and everything seemed to be working as expected.

Thanks Andy!  I haven't quite decided what to do with the Planar yet, I do enjoy it overall but the distortion is a bit high for my liking, I'll test it out against the Summilux when I can find a copy, and will probably end up selling it to cover the cost.

Yes, it's just the standard one.
