Voigtlander Bessa II

This one hurts. Gorgeous Bessa II with 105/3.5 Color Skopar in a Compur Rapid shutter. There are few light marks and one tiny dimple on the metal, and the leather is missing from one of the two tripod mounting socket surrounds, but other than that it’s damn near perfect. The glass is clean and clear. The shutter was overhauled and works properly at all speeds, as does the self-timer. Focus and shutter release mechanisms were CLA’d and are buttery smooth. Lens standard was squared with the film plane, so the common problem of uneven focusing (causing one edge of the frame to appear blurry) has been resolved. No light leaks on the bellows or anywhere else. RF is accurate.

The camera comes with the very rare 333/88 slip-on cold shoe (that’s what the marks on the chrome are from) for use with the Kontur 6x9 viewfinder (VF not included).

High-res scans of negatives from this camera are available. PM me and I’ll send a link. Only selling because it's just not being used; the resolution this camera is capable of deserves a tripod, and I have limited patience for such fiddling with such things.

Canon VI-L

This is a good example of a relatively uncommon camera. The shutter has been serviced and it works properly at all speeds. RF is aligned and the VF glass is clean. The cold shoe external VF parallax adjuster works properly. Light seals are new.

There are a few small issues, primarily with the VF. There are some marks on the front glass, which are only noticeable in use when pointed toward the light. The framelines in the 50/100 glass are not in the best of shape; the 50 is rough but completely useable, while the 100 (which is just corners, not a full frame) is dodgy. There are also some marks in the chrome on the top plate around the rewind crank.

Selling because I thought I might like this variant more than my L1 – turns out I don’t. Lens and viewfinder shown in the first photo are not included.

Voigtlander Snapshot Skopar 25/4 (SOLD)

What can I say – it's got a great reputation, and it's well-deserved, but it just doesn't work for me. The look is a bit more modern than I prefer, and it's just too close to my 21mm and 28mm lenses, so I'm selling it. Great example, everything works as it should. Includes the original hood and front cap, and a generic rear cap.

I have to comment on the Bessa RF ii.
This camera is so good. The 6x9 negative is just huge from a roll film camera.
The image quality of a hi-res scan is just amazing.
The Color Skopar is a great lens. (tessar)
Heaps of character wide open and super sharp stopped down a bit.
I have a few heirloom portraits made with this exact set up.
GLWS and to new owner Smile

Thanks, Andy. It's a great camera. I really wish I was more inclined to the sort of photography at which it excels, but I'm not, and there's no reason for it to be just sitting on my shelf.
