We moved to Miami when we were very young. We had a 2-year old son. At the time, I was really struggling with personal issues. When I shot this photo, Kathy was contemplating on taking our son and moving back to Texas. I talked her out of it and changed my ways. August 4th of this year 2024, marked our 47th year together.

The camera was a Nikon F2 with a 50mm 1.4 lens.
