M113 require considerably more maintenance then Humvees does (the tracks alone will come lose and "throw" vs a tired wheel here).
They both offer about about the same defensive armor (pistols, but not rifles).
Humvees are easier to recover then a M113 (which would need flatbed truck and crane to recover).
Humvees are quicker, but the M113 can traverse more varied terrain.
I suspect the Humvees is cheaper to replace today too.
M113 can carry more (weight and number of bodies)
