Kodak Retina and Ektra Rangefinders This forum is for 35mm Kodak Retinas and Ektras rangefinders. The Retinas are known for their German engineering, relatively modest price and superb lenses. The Ektras are known as by far the finest 35mm American made rangefinder ever made.

Very nice looking IIIS with case, flash and working meter on Minneapolis Craigs list for $50.00
Assorted Nikon SP, S2, S3 mand lens and acc. Nikon F5 20mm f2.8 85mm f1.8 & 180 f2.8. All RF stuff for sale for right price

For that price it's a steal! Just a few days ago I read that it's nickname in Germany was the "Stuttgart Leica".
Got two of them.

Just getting the film back and scanned. The attachment limits have been reduced from the 300K limit used on the forum before, so they will have to wait.

On the 28mm issue: I use the entire viewfinder for 28mm framing. It is "close-enough". I prefer the 35/2.8 Curtagon.
