Helen,

I hadn't realized until seeing you post your image here that Eric had passed. My heartfelt condolences to you. Seeing pictures of him and pictures he made give a real sense of someone who would have been fun to know and be around.

I hope you can bond with the M9...it's truly a wonderful camera. I miss not having mine but sort feel I do with my MM. Anyway this thread is stronger with your contributions.

Seeing so many really nice images from long-time M9 people here (Sevres, Richard and Maggieo to name 3) as well as newer contributors is a treat!
M9 lives and it rocks!

David

Thank you Helen, I always happy to see you and your photos here.
Dog photo is awesome. It is different dog breed in the shadow. And all in the photo shows the moment.
It is also interesting to see what this lens does on M9.

M-E with LTM 50mm f/1.5 Nokton. It may not be too fond of the cold but the M-E is still a fine companion for my daily cycle to work.

Thanks Helen. Its the new Summaron. It is wonderful little lens.

And confession: these are all OOC jpegs...... Further credit to the M9.

All in the one garden near us. Here is the M9-P shot like slide film near work.

This is a marvellous car. Air suspension. The owner lives down the hill. He took me in this car not far from here, down the hill at 100mph, the three pointed star up ahead, the car like a limpet on the road. He has two 280SEs, his original Ford collection, a 1957 Speedster, some Citroens, another Merc, and a dog of an Audi A4 for some reason.

I think I am just chasing lines, light and shadows
‘seeing’ differently now ... more a big square box filled with lights, darks, lines
That’s what seems to draw me in now

a turned back...
