I love the gentle look from this lens - very nice portrait unoh7!

Is this the fat 90 TE stopped down to ~f3.4 ?
It looks absolutely beautiful! … searching for my fat TE right now …

I heard that the M9 wasn't good for low light....

Maggie,

Wonderful pictures from Cuba. Such a pastiche of colour that lent to the M9's strengths so nicely! I've been on the fence about selling mine... this set has inspired me! I was last in Havana 15y ago; I'm sure much has changed and, likely, much hasn't.

MaggieO - wonderful series, the cat and the pig is great. Here's my thoughts:

1. Trip to Cuba - check
2. Get M9 - check
3. Get MaggieO to publish a book like NYDan with her photos! - hopeful

At least I know I can afford #3!

Thanks for posting!

M9 alive and well

it has been awhile since i've contributed here. posting a recent image from around the house, or home sweet home. primarily i was playing with black and white compositions, but this one called out to me in color. the b&w are on flickr if anyone is interested.

Hi QUan, good set of shots. Nice going capturing movement. May I ask what lens did you use?

Thank you

I mainly use Summilux 35 FLE, the one yellow tire is Summicron 28 (the version before the current one) and the second last photo with Super Elmarit M 21, hope this help

Cheers

I use my M9p with my Nokton 50 1.1 a lot. I mean a lot! Yes, it has the purple 'thing' , sometimes i miss the exact focus, but i prefer the moment...but i love it in combination with my Leica M9P.

I use the Nokton 50 coded as a Noctilux 1.0 and that works perfectly for me!

Two pictures from yesterday morning on my way to work. Both with Leitz 5 cm Summarit at f/5.6 on the Leica M9.
