Playing old cine lenses on Leica

Let's start a thread using cine lenses on Leica or any other digital camera.

Will post some of the lenses that I have on hand that used on Leica mostly.

Share your cine lens photos here are welcome...^^

Cheers,

Jeffo

Quite interesting looks, different from most still photo lenses. Are all of these lenses designed to only cover Super 35? But you show the full frame here? If so, I'm surprised the corners all all there even wide open.

Yes. The lens that I choose are mostly cover FF with out any problem but some might have small dark corners which I don't mind at all..

Cheers,

Jeff

lol....me too. I had sold most of my Leica lenses way back to go for cine lenses. Som Berhiot 55mm f1.5 is a killer. Here is one by this lens.

Really wild bokeh! The closest thing I have is the Zeiss 50mm f1.8 Ultron which is a still lens, but apparently very popular with cine photographers. These are adapted to my Fujifilm XT-2.

I do have a Fujinon-TV lens (12.5mm f1.4), but it play more like a fisheye due to coverage.

Thank you Mark's support. Please post more of different old / cine lenses so we can share more different characteristics of those legendary glasses.

Cheers,

Jeff

Jeff, you have lots of very impressive lenses, I saw earlier some of your pictures on flickr and I like them very much. Myself I'm using Arri 16 lens on M43 (I'm cheap), a 25mm f/2 Planar with some nice fungus inside- https://bielikowski.tumblr.com/

Thanks for sharing. Too bad this one can't cover FF but it offers superb photos.
