Nex images thread

Post any image shot with a Nex body

I just got a m-rokkor 40/2 from loneranger here and tried it out yesterday on my 5n:

The 5n is still considered best sony sensor for many RF lenses. Very cheap used now.

NEX6 with Sony 16-50mm... not bad for a kit lens.

I bought a Sigma Super-Wide II 24mm f/2.8 for Canon FD in an effort to find the cheapest feasible lens that'd get me a 35mm equiv FOV on my NEX-7. I took it to the farmer's market, and it seems like a hell of a lens already. I don't think it quite reaches infinity on my adapter, but I don't plan to use it much for landscapes at infinity, anyway.

The Sigma Super-Wide II 24/2.8 is a lovely lens. The old Photodo rated it 4.1, making it one of the sharpest lenses ever tested by them. I have it in both Minolta MD/MC and in Minolta/Sony AF - it is a great lens and I often was tempted to buy it for Canon EF, but it doesn't AF on Canon Digital

Only downside: it has distortion. Look at this picture taken with a Sony A100

Sony A100 | Sigma Super-Wide II 24/2.8 | f/3.5 | 1/125s | 100iso

But, enough lenstalk.

As this is the Nex image thread, here is a Nex image with another Sigma lens:

Sony Nex 5 | Sigma 19/2.8 EX DN | F/11 | 1/30s | 250iso

And another one with a Minolta lens:

Sony Nex 5 | Minolta MD 85/2 | f/? | 1/320s | 200iso
