A Kodachrome "Love Poem"

I thought some of us would enjoy "A vivid, surreal Kodachrome love poem to 1980s Florida".
Basically, I mean, ah—well, let’s say that for me anyway when a photograph is interesting, it’s interesting because of the kind of photographic problem it states—which has to do with the . . . contest between content and form.

That first photo of the cars grabbed me right off. I remember the orange of that hatchback, and they were exactly that colour. All the colours are so true! Which is pretty crazy if you consider that this was basically a B&W slide film that had the dyes added later in the processing. I miss it, as well as some of the Agfa films like their Optima line. Extra points for the Rebel flag license plate. Those were pre politically correct days.

You can really see the appeal of the colours in those photos, unfortunately I wasn't quite 9 when I last saw Florida and the only Camera I had was a Praktica P&S with Kodak Gold and I was more intrested in the rides and catching lizards at my Great Uncle David's house.
Those aren't left over screws, that's weight reduction.
