Raid, while you're at it, could you ask if they could please make an Audrey Hepburn IIIg?

OK it doesn't have to be a IIIg. Just something petite.

No as I just recently sold my M2, M7 & M8. I still have all my lovely Leica Glass but using it on a Hexar RF & GXR. Still on the fence about staying in the system or not.

Hello,

I had a IIIc, M4-P and M2. I sold the M4-P and IIIc, and I will regret it. I am keeping the M2 for sure.

I have a M2, M3, M4 and a IIIc. I have owned a MP, M7, M6, but I decided just to shoot mainly with my M3 and M4 most of the time when I shoot film. I needed to reduce my camera accumulation. - jim

Me?
M mount: CL, M2, M3, hopelessly non-functioning M6, and M8u. Lusting after FF digital (M9,ME,240,etc) and a good working M6.

Screw mount: IIIa and IIIf. And then there's the IIIc in "parts condition"

Lenses: Er...a few, but really just a few -- 7 actual Leitz lenses and a bunch of compatibles (e.g., Zeiss, CV, Canon, Nikon, FSU, Rokkor, Komura, etc.)

I don't own a Leica at the moment, though I have owned an M5, two times, and I am thinking of getting an M7 next year some time.....
not sure what lens yet... maybe a slowish 35mm or, if I can get good deal on a Leica 28mm... better...not sure on the VF mag... .58 most likely.....

I wouldn't mind an M8.2 or M9. but digital's have a short shelf life compared to Film M's

yup, i own 2

M3 and M6, used to have an M9, debating on whether I should get another one or an M240 but a digital RF is not a top priority for me right now

Answered no because my MM has been back at Leica since early January, update this week says another 8 weeks before it returns. Annoyed me so I sold my M6 and MM is out the door as soon as it returns. Tired of Leica and might buy a Zeiss Ikon instead.

IIIa, M2, M4P, MP, M8, M9. I've used Leicas since c. 1969. Never had more than about half a dozen at a time, though.

Cheers,

R.

How about a Jennifer Connely Limited Edition. She used one in the movie "Blood Diamond"
(good movie BTW)

I'm down to just an MP - sold off an M8.2, M9-P and M3 over past 2 years. Have yet to give up any M glass yet (with exception of collapsible 50 I had on the M3). I may be done with digital M's but never say never I suppose.

Just one old LTM from my dad. Sold everything else during the Great Rescission.

Oddly don't miss it, having too much fun with my iPhone 5.

But that is subject to change at any time. GAS has a very high rate of recidivism among photographers.....

RAID, my Leicas own me, not the other way around!!

But like Paul, with the reliability issues and lack of long term support, a digital M is highly unlikely for me. It is kind of an expensive throwaway scenario that scares me although a Monochrom is my dream. In the meantime I love my R8 and I am still not happy with that solution (DMR/R10) either by Leica.

I have just the Leica MP 0.85 and 2 Leica lenses 50 & 75

I don't really know how much value a poll like this is for 1 reason only.
There are supposed to be 59,000 members of RFF but the input from active members is a lot lower perhaps no more than a few hundred.

Also the polls themselves are usually low in numbers - maybe the high hundreds but not often breaking the 4 digit mark.

In the 4 hours of this poll - we have close to 200 replies already with another week to go - so where and what are the 10's of thousands of RFF members?
I will admit I post rarely - joined in 2006 but less than 100 posts - usually when I look and read RFF I don't need to sign in.

I hope the CEO of Leica doesn't turn this around on Raid and say sure you have several hundred replies and several hundred active members (not all by any means Leica owners/users) but the 59000+ ...... tells us different.

However just like Leica (film cameras & lenses) quality is what counts.
The several hundred usual suspects here on RFF actually lend a quality and authority to this forum that regular readers such as me like so much.

all the best, John

M5 x2 (3 lug, 2 lug) and a couple of Japanese hybrids/variants (CL, Hexar RF). One of the M5s is available to any here who lack and desire one.

Can I change my vote ?

Along now comes the village idiot who voted "NO" and then remembered he has a Digilux-2 , that is dormant but much loved, custom dressed in red leather.

So.... subtract 1 from the "no" column and add 1 to the "yes" column. Thank you.

Though I wish that I understood why the Leica CEO needs to know this.

It looks as if about 80% of RFF members still own a Leica of some sort.
