There are photographers who shoot only B&W, only color and both B&W and colors. I am among these, sometimes B&W sometimes color. Usually it depends if the photos are part of a project and what kind of project. If not part of a project it depends on my mood at the moment...

X1 can be more than satisfying in both cases. This was just a random photo taken with no special intent, I just liked the colors that evening...

Leica X typ 113
ISO 100 @ f/5.6 @ 1/100

Walk and walk in morning light, in evening too, I
think while walking of the lines feet follow
places visited
destinations imagined.

Walk and walked upon, the path
displays its burden from the passage
environmental damages.

enjoy,

Thanks guys, I do not comment the technical quality of the X1 but I like to emphasize the big plus: the size. The photo of the cyclist I had not taken with any other camera, M7 included simply because that night I had left home any larger camera. The small size and weight of the x1 made possible to have it with me in my coat pocket even if I didn't go out to take pictures but to make some shopping..
robert
PS: how do they say? the best camera is the one you have with you...

One of the big advantages of my X1 is the small size and weight.I can have it very oft with me and catch what interest me in that moment...

Robert, this is really nice... I can't believe the ease of carrying this camera even in the hot weather, it just slips inside my pocket when not riding with the M6 in my bag. Great image there!
