I wished I hadn’t seen this post. Now, I am sorely tempted to buy that lens I’ve been wanting. Since the price is a little over $900, the eBay discount is capped at $100. Still, $100 off is an awesome deal! Why oh why did I have to read this post?

The Fuji 16/1.4.... I’ve hopped on the Fuji mirrorless bandwagon and currently own the so-called Fujicrons - 23/35/50 f2.0... Images from the 16/1.4 look magical, especially wide open. Loving the Fuji jpeg images straight out of camera, using the simulations (Classic chrome and ACROS).

It really IS a great lens. You won't be sorry if you go for it.

Well, we are now told that truth is not truth.
Consequently, everything is not everything.

I finally pulled the trigger on that Fuji 16/1.4 lens and got a $100 discount. I went back and forth between buying used or buying new. In the end, I decided to buy new from Adorama's ebay store. With expedited shipping, I should get it in time for the holiday weekend.

The Verge reportage is incomplete. What a surprise.

It was quite clear on eBay - This Coupon is a 15% discount off a minimum purchase of $25.

At 21:59 was within a breath of pulling the trigger on a CV 21/4 but.... since I already have the CV 25/4 the better angels in me showed me that
$400 (CDN) could be saved... or better spent elsewhere.

I was enormously tempted last night. I scrolled through my swollen watch list like a kid in a candy store. All those pretty cameras and lenses....

Ultimately I had to admit to myself that I’ve bought an awful lot of photography stuff lately and should probably exercise a little self-control. Prudence isn’t a whole lot of fun but it’s easier on the wallet so I let the 15% coupon slip quietly away.

Thanks for pointing it out, though! There’s no telling how imprudent I might be next time!

I thought about getting a 7Artisans lens, but chickened out. Don't need another 50 that bad.

Bought a little something for my wife that she wanted, instead of something for myself.

not camera related but I used the 15% discount to buy an Xbox One X in preparation of Red Dead Redemption 2.

next time I see a 15% promo, will be using it for a Voigtlander 15mm or 21mm though
