This is a very cool project !
I wish there was an inexpensive way to send cameras to them. If they are a nonprofit then people could get a tax deduction for the donation of cameras. There must be lots of folks in the USA with cameras they would donate if the shipping was low cost.

Agreed! I still have some old Prakticas and a Canonet lying around at my parent's place in Germany.

This guy was in the media not so long time ago. Something like - "sky is falling, what is my son is going to take pictures with". First, it looked like cover up for resale under higher prices, initially, but if they are buying tens of thousands cameras and checking, servicing some of them, plus, adding more service personal - it is nice. I can't recall any company with 100K of used film cameras....
