Post your photos made on Ilford FP4+

It would be good to run a thread for FP4+ similar to John Bragg's thread on HP5+.

So please share your photos made on FP4+ in this thread, with some details about your recipe and methods. I will start the ball rolling with this photo , taken with a Leica CL and Voigtlander Ultron 35mm f/2 Ashperical Vintage Line lens, FP4+ @ISO 125 developed in ID-11 diluted 1+3 for 18 mins @ 24C with 10secs rapid inversions once a minute.

As John mentioned in the other thread it will be good to compare and share results achievable with this film.

exposure @f/2 and probably 1/60

I haven't used it all that much, in the past I preferred any of the other main medium-slow films; particularly Plus-X, before it was phased out. But this year I'll give FP4+ a whirl with approximately thirty rolls.

The following from one of the rare occasions I used FP4+ in the past. [Canon EOS A2/5, Canon EF 50/1.4, Ilford FP4+ 125, Xtol 1+1.]

Summer, Plymouth Hoe

Nikon FM2n, Nikkor 35mm f2
FP4+ pushed to 250 and souped in XTOL 1:1
30secs inversions, then 3 per minute for 12 minutes

Apart from that have a Rolleiflex 3.5F, the odd Minolta XD7, Hasselblad 500cm, a Topcon Super D and an Intrepid 5x4 large format (not the half of it but I am clearing them out, honest).

I do all my own black and white developing at home.

Ilford FP-4, developed in PMK. I gave this film N-1 developing, a reduced developing time to lower contrast. Shot in a Mamiya 6 with 75mm f3.5 lens.

Ilford FP-4, developed in PMK. Shot in a Mamiya 6 with 150mm f4.5 lens. This shows the incredible tonality that the combination of FP-4 and PMK give in foggy conditions.

Ilford FP-4 developed in D-76 1+1. Shot with a Mamiya 645 Super and 150mm f3.5 lens.

Ilford FP-4 developed in Rodinal 1+50. Hasselblad 503CX and 80mm f2.8 CF lens.

FP-4 is one of the most beautiful B&W films that I have used, and it is very versatile, giving wonderful results in every developer that I have tried with it. My Favorite is PMK, but D-76 1+1 and Rodinal are good, too.

Lovely shots all - particularly enjoyed Chris's ones developed in PMK and Deardorff's in Pyrocat HD.

A recent shot using FP4+ from 25 years ago. Emma Hamilton Rose, Summilux R 80mm f1.4 (shot at that) developed in FX39 1:9. I'm amazed that film stored in the loft of a neighbour should be in such condition.

The FP4 Plus is one of two B/W films. I like it a lot.

Great shots in this thread.

Sorry to divert the thread, but how did you develop and if you did, tone, the Azo? I never got anywhere near that image colour with it.

I like the film, but shoot way too little of it.
Should probably buy some, I think I only have a couple of rolls left.

I‘ve been shooting a fair amount with FP4+ recently. I usually meter at iso 250 and develop in Diafine.

The pix below were taken with a Leica IIIc and a CV Skopar 50/2.5:
