Making Ilford film

The Ilford website has a video on how they make their b&w films. I found it very informative, as film is something I rather take for granted:

My daughter's housekeeper's husband is always interested in my use of film. Before they came to California he worked at the Mexican Kodak facility of course in Mexico. It was interesting to hear his experience. I watched the video and completely similar.

Beautiful video. The Ilford employees filmed came across as great people.

I was slightly surprised at the scale of the operation. Thatís a big factory with a high degree of automation. Long may it continue.
