Spare parts.

Hello all,
Spare parts help needed here.....
I have an MX EVS that has a missing screw holding the top fold down viewfinder in place. Also have an E3.5 that has a foot missing off the bottom plate.
Anybody got any suggestions as to where I would get these two items from.
I thought the feet were screwed into the bottom but it looks like they are glued in. Not vital but I would like to replace these missing items.
Thanks for any help.

I can't do much about the foot, but I looked through my spare screws and found one that will work in the MX-EVS. It is black, the same length, same head shape, same thread and pitch, but it is a Phillips head instead of a slot. I tested it in my MX-EVS and it went in fine. You wouldn't notice the slight difference. It may offend some purists, but it may get you by until you find a perfectly matching screw. I'd be happy to drop it in the mail for you. PM me if you're interested.

I believe the feet are riveted in, and there is more than one style/size.

Waiting for the light

Yep, rivets, no screws or glue.

You could use a small screw with two nuts to make a foot. Run the screw through the hole with a bolt (plus washer?) on each side.Adjust for right height and tighten. Probably safest to put some black electrical tape or some other light seal material on the inside.

A missing foot is a light leak more than anything. If the camera sitting on its feet isn't required, simply seal up the hole.
