Voigtlander 28/35mm Mini Viewfinder, from AusDLK here on RFF. The viewfinder is smaller than my thumb. This opens up several possibilities for lens/camera combinations that I have been itching to try.

LHSA APO Summicron 50 Asph. Silver version.

I consider it to a completely reasonable decision as it was solely taken wholeheartedly.

I am eagerly awaiting its delivery.

I bought this on ebay for $9.99. Beautiful 41mm shade, new, now available. Perfect for the Summarit 50mm f/1.5 and the Summilux 35mm f/1.4 steel rim, as a replacement for XOONS and OLLUX. The OLLUX in nice condition sells for $1.500.

Seems great! Please tell if you notice any vignettes at all

Also would appreciate the seller data.

Best regards

I wrote 42mm, must of course be 41mm. No vignetting with the Summarit, the steel rim I am testing now. I am optimistic!

I had this grand plan to not buy any new gear this year and I already failed.
There’s a chrome M4 headed my way. I’m weak.

Two 16mm magazines of Kodachrome II that I am gleefully running through my camera, unceremoniously flashing then using to test capstan modification of the magazines themselves.

Kodak 35 Rangefinder

I actually got this last week. It's grimy from hanging from a nail in a closet since the Seventies, judging by the early-Seventies roll of Kodachrome II film in the camera. There's nowhere to develop that anymore, so it will remain a little time capsule. I just love how Rube Goldberg it looks.

This thing is super grimy, so I have to clean it out. I've read that it is actually pretty easy to get apart, clean, reassemble, and calibrate. The serial number indicates it was made in 1941.
