You can view it either as a plain landscape, or as a vegetarian dinosaur nibbling on the bushes.

Nice interior shot!

I mistook it for the little drug and hardware store in Steilacoom, but I guess this is someplace else called West Beach.

Welcome back Dave! Nine month w/o the MM - horrible to even think about it.
Great work, you didn't loose anything

Earlier this week we had a thunderstorm and a little downpour.
My better half thought I was nuts to go out an take a photo...

Thanks for the inspiring words Klaus as I really hope I still can get some good shots from the RF haha. Your shot demonstrates the "passion", when it rains, it pours, we play LOL!

Vince, how's the M246 doing? How do you compare it with the ol' MM in terms of post-processing? I can see your first shot has some reach tonality, I don't know if it's courtesy of the new MM DNG?

It's working out pretty well, and I'm preferring the 246 to the 'old' Monochrom (the handling, the sound, the Live View etc). Files-wise, I think there is more info in the shadows and certainly in the highlights, so I think it provides a better 'base' from which to work. Files can be really clean (sometimes almost too clean) at base ISO, but here again, I look at it as a better point of departure.
