That's a brilliant photo, Colton!

Even that little spigot/white object in the lower right is a critical element to the balance of the composition. Brilliant!

I envy your eye, Colton.

It's a Z-1p, with the optional grip thing.

Wow nice glass! I have a black MX as well and was thinking about a 28mm. How do you find yours?

I either own or have owned the SMC (K) 28/f2 (the one above), SMC-M 28/f2, SMC-M 28/f3.5 and Super Takumar 28/f3.5 (M42 mount). All of them are good, I've really enjoyed using the SMC-M 28/f2 for several years now. I haven't used it, but the SMC (K) 28/f3.5 also has a sterling reputation.

The SMC 28/f2 is a different beast to the others. Much more complex (features a floating element and several aspherical elements), much larger and much more expensive. If you aren't aware of it's story, it was developed in partnership with Carl Zeiss, and is virtually identical to the legendary Zeiss 28mm Distagon. I only recently picked up my copy so can't comment on personal experience yet, but it's reputation is significant.
