Every company that sells any kind of hard goods or services prices what they are selling based on what the market will bear. It's not just Leica.

Regarding the question "Does Leica take advantage of their M users?" the only truly fact based, rational answer is no.

At the end of the day, no one holds a gun to another person's head and forces them under threat of imminent death to buy an M lens or camera.
