I think most of these were shot at f5.6, with the last three at f1.4...

First shot wide open - crazy background!

A joy to shoot on a Leica M3, and makes an interesting portrait lens:

Leica iiic, Nikkor SC Tokyo 5cm f1.4 w/Tri-X

One of the early LTM versions in the 5005xxxx series, on it's new home, a Leica iiic. Fun "walking around" combo.

Some samples from my first roll shot through the S2 and 5cm 1.4.
And the picture of the camera is the first time i held it after purchasing and loading it with the TMax400.

I just got my copy in LTM, from another RFF member. Shot on my Fuji X-E2s.

Just some test shots in the house.

Here's some shots from the 5cm f1.4 and my S2 from last fall.

I just threw this shot in because I am madly in love with this girl riding a Hayabusa

This shot is at f1.4, and it's one of the better results I have had using this lens wide open.

Some Recent Shots

I was about to sell my Nikon SP after not using it for a long time, but then I finished a roll off with my 50 1.4 and fell in love with it again. Now it has gone to Gus Lazzari for a full restoration, and I bought a Bessa R2S to hold me over. Here are some of the shots that convinced me to stay the course:

First shots from my first roll out of the S3+Nikkor-S 50/1.4 Black Special Edition (2000).
I am very pleased with the results from the lens.
Also my first time using Tri-X, and i am happy with the great contrast it gives. I am used to using HP5 for the last year, and Tmax400.
