wild animal

Animals, not pets, free animals in their habitat.
Seems there is no thread about animals at words no words yet, only at a section for photos taken by Leicas

Wonderful close-ups, Andreas. You've gotten accustomed to the A7 in a way to benefit all of us viewers!

thank you so much Robert for your kind comment and compliment. In many ways my preferred camera contiune the smaller and lighter Sony NEX5n and Ricoh GXR M, both important features for me, also because of their EVF being moveable. I am a big fan and stout advocate of the later. For my many vintage lenses eventually I wanted a camera with a 35mm sensor. Only after I had given up hope for a pending release of a mirrorless ( or "affordable" rangefinder ) camera that has both a 35mm sensor and a tilting EVF I had bought an used A7.
Certainly it does beat the other two mentioned cameras technically, most importantly with bigger and brighter EVF, better high ISO performance and being faster. Therefore the A7 gets it's fair share of use too.

Family Flotilla by P F McFarland, on Flickr

I'd have some really great photos of turkeys, bears, and others, but usually only see them when they are crossing in front of my vehicle when I'm at highway speed.

Kosciuszko NP, Australia. Despite the cute appearance, kangaroos sometimes attack people. Fuji F10.

large wombat at Wilsons Prom National Park, Vic, Australia 2005. Dimage A1. Wombats generally don't bother anyone, they're called the bulldozers of the bush, but there have been rare attacks when people annoy them.
