Visit to World Trade Center Tower Observatory

[url]

Taken through the windows of the WTC "Observatory" not ideal for photography but with camera in hand i made a couple of exposures.

[url]

Some folks waiting to ascend the tower on a very sunny day.

Both images taken with 21mm f3.4 SEM

The show came down at the end of June and we sold all the books I had brought and I brought more than I thought i would ever sell at the opening and sold these 4 prints.

Thanks everyone here for your encouragement and thank you to those that attended the opening or stopped by while the exhibit was up.

En route to World Trade Center, my daughter and I parked on the Brooklyn side (for free on the street and enjoyed a stroll across the Brooklyn Bridge. I started the walk with my 50 but decided to play with the 21 SEM. Of course I forgot to switch to "lens detection-auto" so the camera would get wind of the switch! In post process, I decided to try and keep the soft almost beach-like lighting rather than punch at the blacks increasing contrast....hope it works! Comments always welcome.

Thanks Allen,

It's harder to get her to pose for my camera than when she was younger. I was just thrilled she wanted to walk the bridge toward our destination -The Trade Center and 9/11 Memorial. It was a fun time and not too hot on the bridge.

Nice seeing your images here again, always fun to see.
