Memphis Blues: The new book by our "Memphis".

You should know that memphis has published his second book, "Memphis Blues", a retrospective of Memphis blues artists and their images while performing on Memphis, Tennessee's Beale Street. The result of 5 years work in the clubs and alleys of Memphis' blues clubs, this is a major, superior work. Memphis was recently interviewed by Memphis Fox affiliate for the kickoff of the book, after they got wind of the book from the artists themselves.
I would urge you to check out the interview, set to air n Memphis very soon, on their morning magazine show.
Blake, my man, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
The interview can be seen at :

Congratulations. Nice meeting you through the interview.
(And a bit of sadness seeing the picture of Alex Chilton).

Geez, don't ever put ME in a book! On second thought, it would certainly be an honor because I like what you do!

Blake is the MAN! Cool interview. I think that Digilux he's holding used to be mine (he had two of 'em, one of which he bought from me... said as if I were a proud father... now that's just silly since the camera deserves none of the credit for Blake's great work). He made very good use of it!

Ha! How about a little RFF field trip to Memphis in the Spring? Everyone buys a book and everyone chows down on BBQ!
