Weird, I had absolutely no recollection of that photo and had to check my own gallery to confirm I'd actually posted it. Kinda cool though

Off to play home page roulette and see what come up!

And here we are - I remember this one from Alex Krasotkin really well - one of a wonderful series of Rolleiflex portraits

Here's my Random Pick for today:

Tektonik Princess (2008), by yanidel:

Yanidel has a nice gallery of B&W and desaturated colour shots showing mostly urban street photography from Paris. While I'm not a big fan of street photography mostly, I find that I like his gallery, which has lots of candid portraits and a fair number of funny and original shots.

What happened to her? I only remember that there were some outstanding portraits of her.

... I don't think he posts anymore, and yes she was memorable ... and therefore attracted some misogynistic comments sometimes

Navidad (2009), by Ciodo:

This must have been a Christmas light installation or something, judging by his other pictures of the same title. But now it's just a cube. Well seen!

Tony, yes and abundance of good photographers here at RFF. I'm convinced that the Picks of the week thread and now this Random picks raises the bar for everyone who is here for the photography. The more members who become active in these two threads will reap the benefits, I know I have.

Here's one that appeared for me today, it also reminded me of one of my shots in Budapest.

Jelico, 2010

That's the chain bridge, my similar one was one bridge away, during 2009.

Break Off! (2007), by Monz:

Monz has an outstanding gallery that apart from a lot of very good pictures of Islamic and family themes also contains this little gem.
